Personal profile

Research interests

My research focus is corporate law, insolvency and blockchain regulation where I have published on blockchain technology, corporate insolvency, personal bankruptcy,  cross-border insolvency, mergers and acquisitions and piercing the corporate veil. Much of my research is comparative and examines the challenges in protecting the rights of debtors and creditors when enterprises are present in multiple jurisdictions and where legal regimes may provide inconsistent rights and obligations.

Statement for HDR students

I am available to supervise HDR students in the areas of corporate law and insolvency where I particularly welcome students engaging in comparative research and students with interests in China and East Asia.
