Personal profile

Research interests

My broad research interests are in consumer behaviour, in particular how different types of consumption contribute to a consumer’s overall happiness and wellbeing. I have a keen interest in research projects that investigate how scarcity cues and tactics influence consumer behaviour as well as how the consumption of experiential products affect a consumer’s happiness and wellbeing. I use experimental research approaches, as well as meta-analysis to synthesize literature and explore generalizability and moderating effects of previous findings.

Statement for HDR students

I am interested in consumer focused research projects. Projects that explore how scarcity influences consumer decisions, as well as how consuming experiential products lead to wellbeing outcomes are of particular interest to me. I am also experienced in systematic reviews and meta-analysis as tools to synthesize piecemeal literature and explore generalizability and moderating effects of previous experimental findings.
