Personal profile

Research interests

I am an Assistant Professor of Anatomy at Bond University, teaching anatomy, histology, and embryology to medical and biomedical students.

I was born overseas and worked as a Resident Doctor in general surgery. I completed my Medical Degree at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), and earned my Doctorate of Medicine at Ruhr University of Bochum (Germany). I have also completed a Master of Clinical Education at Bond University.

I am an investigator in the topographic and surgical anatomy domain, and a developer of prestigious interactive 3D media for learning anatomy. On top of that I undertake educational research on virtual and augmented reality technologies, and their usefulness in medical and allied health education.
