Personal profile
Research interests
I am a PhD student at Bond University with a strong interest in nutritional psychiatry, particularly the role of dietary patterns and food-based interventions in the prevention and treatment of depression and anxiety. My current research explores the clinical relevance of diet quality in mood disorders through both secondary data analysis and a randomised controlled trial targeting university students. I am also involved in an international qualitative project investigating mental health practitioners’ views on the integration of nutrition into clinical care, with collaborators across seven countries.
My research is informed by a multidisciplinary perspective, drawing from psychology, public health, and lifestyle medicine. I am passionate about translating evidence into practice, with a long-term goal of supporting more holistic and preventative models of mental health care.
While I do not currently have any funded projects, I am actively engaged in collaborative research within the Mood Food team and supervised by Dr Megan Lee, Dr Shawna Campbell and Dr Gaelle Brotto.
