Dr Davidson's research interests encompass several areas, including, primary care, chronic disease prevention and management, non-drug interventions, qualitative research methods, and co-design.
Projects include:
- Practice nurse-led intervention for patients with COPD and multimorbidity to enhance self-management
- Co-design and feasibility of an electronic tool for GPs to prescribe non-drug interventions
- Patient preference trial evidence-synthesis for non-drug interventions in primary care
- Exploration of the patient and other stakeholders experiences and role in interprofessional collaborative practice in primary care
