I am currently a Teaching Fellow in International Relations and a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Society and Design at Bond University. The title of my PhD thesis is “Flamenco deterritorialised: encountering intangible cultural heritage in the liminal space.” My doctoral research project is anchored in the fields of critical heritage studies and international relations, and draws epistemologically on a combination of cultural hybridity theory, interculturality, critical theory and social constructivism.
