CRUSH (Collaboration for Research in Understanding Stigma in Healthcare) is focused on advancing knowledge and understanding on stigma to improve care provision and health outcomes for the individuals/groups experiencing stigma. We are committed to undertaking evidence-based research on stigma and discrimination in health care to support stigma reduction efforts through education, prevention, care, and treatment.

CRUSH has held research informed community events aiming to reduce stigma around mental illness.


Team members have contributed to policy documents such as “Improving health outcomes for people with coexisting mental and physical conditions: An integrated approach” which aim to inform better health care for patients who experience stigma.
