Description
The first phase of the research on student evaluation of teaching and subjects in Australian universities documents the process of migration from face-to-face, paper-based to online surveys. The process description highlights collaboration with the student association. One of the key results is response rates over 90%. The second phase is commencing and involves drilling deeper into the data set. Some of the questions that will be explored include: do students provide more and better quality comments in paper-based or online surveys; and is there a pattern in the number and quality of comments over the semester.
