According to a recent report, critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail and writing are among a list of key skills current job seekers are lacking. The NSW Higher School Certificate has undergone a major review to ensure that high school students learn these skills before they enter the workforce. Libby Sander, Bond University lecturer, says the changes to the HSC will change the way students are taught.
