Spoke with Stan Shaw from Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) radio about the Commonwealth Esports Championships and dispelling myths about video games and esports. I specifically addressed the positive aspects of the championships, including advocating for women's esports, the pride of playing for your country, including being "sporting heroes," and dispelling preconceptions about esports not being a legitimate sport. We also discussed the possibility of including esports as a medal event in the Commonwealth Games in Victoria in 2026 and the Olympics in Brisbane in 2032.
