A house for all seasons made entirely of concrete and plywood

Press/Media: Research

Description

When architect David Leggett and his practice partner, Paul Loh, decided it was time to design their own home, they switched on their KUKA robot and a computer-controlled cutting machine.

They’d acquired a long, narrow plot of land – 4.6 metres wide by 22 metres deep – on a laneway in Northcote, four kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, and needed to make every centimetre count.
