Description
Globally our population is aging. Healthcare providers must be optimally prepared for the care of older adults. Simulated participant methodology is becoming increasingly nuanced as features of different stages of human development are considered. While professional standards of practice have been based on normative adults, there is evidence that other lifespan phases deserve attention to optimize learning for all involved. In this talk, we share the importance of engaging older adults as SPs in SBE and recognizing the unique considerations when working with older adult SPs.Period | 15 Nov 2023 |
