The team (Thejaani Aran, Aaron Nihal, Bailey Craig, Xavier McMahon, James Pietris and Aidan Crayton) who won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Bond MD Research Conference for their research on surgical waste, and the Gold Coast Health and Partners Research Showcase award for their oral presentation were supervised by Dr Neelam Maheshwari, Dr Allan Stirling, Professor Peter Jones, Professor Michelle McLean and Evelyne Rathbone.
