Description

The Space Regulations Library is a long-standing series of cutting-edge research written by practitioners and academics and addressing novel and emerging issues relating to the national and international regulation of space activities.
The series covers key topics relating to, among other topics of significance, various approaches to the regulation of national space activities, the privatisation and commercialisation of space activities, NewSpace applications and developments, the role of cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence in space activities, military uses of outer space, the exploration, exploitation and utilisation of space natural resources, and the settlement of space disputes.

Through a rigorous selection and peer-review process, the Space Regulations Library aims to publish innovative works that highlight legal and policies issues of interest and concern for actors and stakeholders in the competitive and congested domain of outer space. In a shared global commons where various socio-economic, scientific, security, and commercial interests intersect, it is vital for industry professionals, government officials and academics worldwide to take note of existing rules as well as the challenges and trends in the formulation and implementation of regulations and policies governing space activities.
With the practical insights and recommendations offered by the authors on a variety of topics in a domain where developments often outpace existing rules and policies, the Space Regulations Library aims to contribute to the continued dialogue on how to safeguard and promote the long-term sustainability, safety and security of outer space.
