Royal Australian College of General Practitioners as incoming chair (from October 2018) RACGP Expert Committee for Quality Care

This committee provides clinical guidance to the CEO and Board of the RACGP. The committee produces evidence based guidelines for Australian GPs. Flagship publications include:
* The Red Book - Guidelines for preventative activities in general practice
* National guide to preventative health assessment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People
* The Green Book - Guideline for the implementation of prevention in the general practice setting
* General practice management of type 2 diabetes
* The White Book - Abuse and violence, working with our patients in general practice
* e-Mental Health, a guide for GPs
* Genomics in general practice
* The Silver Book - Medical care of older persons in residential aged care facilities

The committee produces multiple guidelines on specific topics as well as position statements, commentary on National policy and feedback to government and other organisations.
