In recent years, arbitration institutions in China and Australia have gone through significant reforms in specialization, digitalization and internationalization. This special Lunch Talk will be conducted in an interview fashion. Our prominent speakers and the moderator will discuss what is the current state of arbitration in China and Australia, whether Chinese parties doing business internationally yet have the bargaining power to impose arbitration in CIETAC or other Chinese institutions, what about choice of law, to what extent do the reform in China aim to encourage use of Chinese institutions, and what lessons that Chinese institutions may draw from outside world.
