Description

1.1. The QLD Regional Health Collaborative (RHC) Steering Committee was established to provide leadership and oversight of a joint application to the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) for recognition as a Centre for Innovation in Regional Health (CIRH).
1.2. The purpose of the CIRH initiative is to encourage leadership in health research and translation of direct relevance and benefit to regional and remote areas of Australia.
1.3. The purpose of the RHC Steering Committee is to identify alignment between Partners who are committed to working together to identify an aligned strategic approach for the development of the application and provide overarching leadership and direction for the submission.
1.4. The submission will be led by the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
