Practice Incentive Payment Data Governance Committee

Additional information

The roles and objectives of this committee are:
to provide advice to the Department of Health and PIPAG on decisions related to the data collected for the PIP QI Incentive (hereafter referred to as the PIP Eligible Data Set). The scope of advice will include but not be limited to:
 monitoring utilisation and interpretation of the PIP Eligible Data Set;
 providing advice on correct interpretation regarding the PIP Eligible Data Set;
 monitoring the role and performance of data collectors and data custodians, and compliance with PIP Eligible Data Set Governance Framework;
 monitoring the PIP Eligible Data Set;
 monitoring the PIP Eligible Data Set Governance Framework for the PIP Eligible Data Set to ensure it remains relevant with regard to legislation, policies, procedures and standards;
 consideration of standards for the release of the PIP Eligible Data Set; and
 consideration of key messages communicated to stakeholders about PIP Eligible Data Set
