Additional information

As Chair, Associate Professor Jo Bishop provided visionary leadership in the creation of the NLA Summit, working closely with the dedicated members of the Summit Working Group to bring the event to life. Together, they shaped a platform designed to explore and elevate the importance of psychosocial safety in the healthcare workplace—why it matters, and how health leaders and organisations can drive meaningful, actionable change.

The NLA Summit Working Group has been instrumental in designing this forum for open dialogue, collaborative problem-solving, and strategic planning to improve the mental health and wellbeing of doctors and medical students across Australia and New Zealand. Under Jo's guidance, the group aligned on key themes, engaged expert speakers, and fostered a space for courageous conversations.

We extend our deep appreciation to those who contributed their time, expertise, and passion throughout the process. Your unwavering commitment to the psychosocial safety of our medical workforce has been both inspiring and essential.
