Activity: Talk or presentation › Oral presentation
Description
This seminar is targeted to professionals, faculty members and aspiring researchers who desire an understanding of how behavioral decision making has evolved. This presentation is grounded in theory but will include numerous real-world applications. I start by sharing examples of violating rational decision making, then move on to a series of topics including adaptive decision making, some heuristics and biases, mental accounting, and nudge related research. System 1 and System 2 thinking, which subsumes these topics and others, is then introduced. Examples of where my research fits in will be shared.
