The phone call from RACF to QAS to transfer a resident to ED Arrival at ED and assessment for a fall in the acute area Transfer to Short Stay Unit for observation and comprehensive geriatric assessment with allied health input Review by geriatrician, older person mental health liaison and social worker Finally, the registrar approaches the GEM doctor confessing that they need to brush up on their GEM skills and seeking GEM educational resources or training.
