The Science Comedy Program will help you master storytelling techniques, enhance your public speaking skills, and improve your stage presence.This program is for academics and scientists - as well as technical experts such as economists, town planners, IT professionals, humanitarians, and much more.
The Science Comedy Program will help you connect with audiences, improve your career, help you to master public speaking, and is a LOT OF FUN!
The program involves a series of workshops - including 1:1 workshops with public speaking trainers and comedians - followed by a 10-minute talk that’s 80% science and 20% humour at a major festival.

How it worksYou will join a group of scientists in your city for the program, which typically spans six weeks.
Throughout the program, you will make new friends, learn the science behind humour, improve your stage presence, and enhance your storytelling skills.
There are eight workshops included in the program. Six are dedicated to the writing of your talk and two cover stage presence, handling a mic, timing, body language, voice cadence and much more.
