The purpose of this umbrella review is to summarise relevant content from previously published reviews to guide both sport and health practitioners regarding concussion in contact female youth ball-sport athletes, as female participation in contact ball-sports is rapidly growing internationally.

This umbrella review aims to address three research questions:
1.What is the prevalence of concussion in female youth contact ball-sport athletes? 2.What are the commonly utilised assessment methods for diagnosing concussion in female youth contact ball-sport athletes on and off the field?
3.What are the predictors for clinical recovery from concussion in female youth contact ball-sport athletes?
