This event is scheduled over three days from Wednesday 20 August to Friday 22 August 2025. Approximately 80 delegates from across Australia and New Zealand are expected to attend including representatives from our accrediting and regulatory agencies.The venue this year is Bond Institute of Health & Sport on the Gold Coast, home base for Bond University students studying exercise and sports science, exercise and sports performance, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nutrition and dietetic practice. The Institute is immersed in a dynamic industry hub, nestled between Robina Hospital and Cbus Super Stadium, easy walking distance from Robina train station, and just 25 minutes by car from the Gold Coast international airport.
The Gold Coast is in Southeast Queensland, just one hour south of Brisbane. The region has 70 kilometres of uninterrupted coastline and is fringed by rainforest hinterland, including world heritage-listed national parks. The region is famous for its attractive environment, shopping and theme parks, and its climate and lifestyle.
Accommodation options include Quest Robina, located opposite the Institute, which has corporate rates for Bond University delegates. Just email [email protected] with dates of your stay and their team will offer corporate rates for which ever room type you need. Alternatively, the seaside suburb of Broadbeach is just 15 minutes away and offers great accommodation choices, such as Dorsett Gold Coast. Approximately 20 minutes from the Institute is world famous Surfers Paradise, where rooms at Voco Hotel offer glistening Gold Coast or tropical Hinterland views.
As an annual event this is an important professional networking and benchmarking opportunity for all Australian/NZ OT education programs.
