Description
Primary supervision of student for 60 credit point MNDP research internship. Project: BOP Study: Body Composition and Physical Function During Chemotherapy from Metastatic Breast Cancer (BOP Study)Women with breast cancer often lose muscle mass and gain fat mass, both of which are associated with impaired quality of life and prognosis. This pilot observation study investigates muscle mass and fat mass in women receiving chemotherapy for metastatic breast cancer, and explores associates with muscle strength, physical activity and physical function.
